So HTC today have unveiled there new phone today, the Sensation XL, with beats audio technology. The XL has a 4.7 inch, which is a screen of epic proportions, HUGE! the screens resolution is 480 x 800, which doesn't put it on par with the iPhone. Still no doubt, the screen will look super clear. Despite its huge size, the XL is actually only 9.9 mm thick, meaning it can easily be carried around in your pocket etc, as long as they are wide enough that is. The phone will come with an 8 Megapixel camera and shoot 720p HD clips, not as good as the iPhone 4S, but you can expect the still images to be pretty damn close.
Perhaps a downside to this phone is that there is no expandable memory, only the 16GB it comes with, and sadly even that is eaten into by a couple of GB from the operating system itself. However despite this it should be a smooth phone to use, as HTC have fitted this device with a monstrous 786mb of ram, and a 1.5 GHZ Single core processor. The XL is running Gingerbread 2.3.
So the verdict so far is, if you want a big HTC display on a sleek looking phone, this is the one to watch. More details soon. Also, being a beats phone, it comes with some pretty sweet beats headphones!
